There was a new year kick-off meeting at the restaurant of Taegwang Heavy Industry on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.

The start of new year was done with the cutting of sirutteok (rice cake) while praying for the affluence of the year.

We had a time to hearing a new year greeting addresses and speeches from chairman LEE, GYUTAE and future business direction from representative director SON, JINTAK.

Since then, a newly appointed executive director Mr. JIN SANG-YEOL expressed his gratitude and all staff members made a new year’s resolution and well-wishing remarks. Mr. PARK, SANGHYEON, deputy general manager, who was newly moved to FA business division, finished the opening ceremony with 2020 slogan chant. 

Our chant for this year is “Changing future is the future of Taegwang” and the greeting slogan is “Let’s innovate.” 

The chant “Safety! Good! Practice! Good!” was finally selected as the chant.

We hope that the year 2020 will be a year during which we can go through changes well and take care of the safety at all times.
